Moving forward with C-19

Dear Customers,

We are pleased to confirm what the Government’s confirmation on the move to step 4 of the roadmap on Monday 19th July will mean for Pace Health Club & Nu Spa customers from next week.

Working in line with Government advice whilst adopting the industry best practice to continue to ensure the safety and comfort of all users, we’re looking forward to enabling a more normal leisure experience to resume. 

The main changes to activities and bookings to be effective from Monday 19th July are:

  • No requirements to pre-book slots for gym workouts or swimming sessions.
  • Swimming sessions will continue with increased capacities – members will be able to swim on a first come first served basis.
  • Capacity numbers will be removed from all areas, however, this will be monitored.
  • Water fountain will return for use in main gym.

As you move around the health club & spa, you will also notice some changes:

  • One-way systems removed
  • Majority of facility spaces returning to their primary use.  

However, we will continue to remain vigilant and carefully manage the changes to use of facilities to ensure you continue to have a great experience by:

  • Continuing enhanced sanitation across the facilities, including ongoing requirements for customers to clean down equipment in gym and functional studio after use.
  • Increasing staffing levels as needed to support with any increase demand and to remain supportive and responsive to all customers.
  • Social Distancing – We ask that you are still mindful of keeping a level of distance as and when possible.
  • Keeping staggered start times for our spa treatments.
  • Showering – Where possible, we still ask to shower at home.
  • Maintaining a range of PPE (eg, sneeze screens on reception) in place with optional use of face coverings customers.
  • We will stay up to date with the national and local situation and adapt as needed to continue to ensure the safety and comfort all our customers and staff.
